5 Matching iPhone and iPad Cases
Made from 100% kid skin (re: young goats, not actually “kids”) and cow hide, these cases offer unique graphic designs printed directly on to the leather. This results in unusual cases that are attractive and handcrafted without being too cute or too homely. This cherry blossom and swallow design is available from Etsy seller tovicorrie’s “Beautiful Skin” shop but order requests can be made for any of the many leather designs available.
Cost: $90 and $38

iPads Start Arriving Early in the UK
I feel like you guys are now owned by Apple with the amount of iPad news you write about. Do you guys get paid everytime you mention the iPad? You sure do mention it way more often than you should. StephC12Although I pretty much agree, you didn't have to read the story. I tend to not read stories that don't interest me. Vadim LavrusikChris, I think the folks in UK might care, no? Also, not to mention the business implications this has on sales. And no, Mashable doesn't get paid to write posts about Apple. We try to cover things that are newsworthy regarding Apple and of course plenty of other issues, brands, gadgets, etc. dsds2I'm from the UK and I don't give a crap about this product. Sure, it's a beautiful product - wonderfully designed, swish software - but the way it's praised as some amazing device that will change everything is ridiculous. The promotion is just stupid - typical Apple, stating they're the best thing ever. Nathan CarterI gather the point of reporting on this is a commentary on an accidental lapse in Apple's otherwise rigid security and strict guidelines for the distribution of the iPad, ala the release of the iPhone. They have armoured vans and security guards when these are delivered to the store, and almost militaristic policies concerning the sale times and dates, and so this is just a particular instance where somebody got things wrong and apparently may have left Apple red-faced.
But yeah. Lot of iPad reporting. Is it really that big a deal? dsds2It's à la. :)blog comments powered by Disqus

10 Must-Have Apps for the iPad Owners
The iPad is a great media player. The size of the screen coupled with the quality of the display really makes it a great way to catch up on lots of content. Although you can use iTunes to transfer movie and music files to your iPad, converting and transferring can be a complicated and tedious process. This is why Air Video is so great — it makes it extremely simple to stream video from your Mac or PC to your iPad.
Just install the free Air Video server client on your PC, tell it what folders to watch or include and then fire up the app. Now select your computer and feel free to go through your lists of available content and watch it in great quality on the iPad! Air Video does a really terrific job of “live conversion,” meaning your video is converted as it plays, which saves time and makes it really easy to enjoy your video collection on the couch.

Apple iPad – “This Changes Everything” – iPad
And don’t try to pick mine up. They’ll be checking IDs. (clap)
UPDATE 3-15-10: Did you pre-order your iPad on Friday? I did. I’m going to pick it up on April 3, at the nearby Apple store. I have until 3pm to grab it, or they will give it to someone else. They’ve even got their distribution system worked out, having dealt with the iPhone releases. I can’t wait.
What’s the first thing you are going to do on you iPad? I’ll probably play DoodleJump.

Apple’s iPad is shipping on Saturday. And supposedly they have sold the entire 500k units ahead of time. Are the other guys embarrassed yet? Are the tech companies readying their response? Microsoft? HP? When do you suppose they will be shipping?
Nuff said.
Stay tuned for the unboxing show on Saturday, all over the web, and right here.
